Freeze-Dried Candy in Reno & Sparks, NV

Reno's hometown freeze-dried candy

Tahoe Treats is a family-owned freeze-dried candy maker in Sparks, Nevada. Since 2021 we've been turning favorite candies, real ice cream and cheesecake into big, puffy, crunchy treats, one small batch at a time, in our own licensed facility just off I-80. We were the first commercially permitted freeze-dried candy and ice cream maker in the Reno-Tahoe area.

Freeze-drying pulls the water out of candy at far below zero. Every piece puffs up to about twice its size and turns light and crunchy, and the flavor gets even bigger. Try our best-selling Rainbow Crunch, freeze-dried ice cream scoops and sandwich bites, cheesecake bites, taffy and gummies.
